More on Hawaii

We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and had a wonderful day despite the rain. Vasyl seemed to have a good time, lots of interesting people and pretty girls to flirt with. He is a great charmer with all the grandparents on vacation as well.

Pictures include one of David and Vasyl learning to hula.

Vasyl has two teeth now and is teething again. He is starting to push himself backwards on his tummy and rolling around a lot. Vasyl loves sitting up on his own the best still. He has eaten rice, barley and oat cereal now and sweet potatoe and prunes. We had to introduce prunes a little earlier than anticipated because Vasyl went 15 days without a poo. He quite likes everything, except he does not seem to be a huge fan of rice cereal. On Monday we are starting yam.

Vasyl and I are now going to the library for music time on Mondays and then a playdate after that. I am still doing the baby bootcamp twice a week and it is getting even better now that we are taking the strollers outside more. Thursdays we have the parent & infant group and another playdate. Soon David will be taking Vasyl to waterbabies on Saturdays at 8:30 am. Mommy is happy to be watching this activity. We have started signing with Vasyl.

Vasyl is not really sleeping through the night anymore and despite the change in bottle type etc. he is still refusing the bottle, even if there is breastmilk in it. He is changing really quickly now. We went and fed the ducks today and then sat by the water to just do some gazing. The sun was really beautiful today and a blue heron landed near us. Vasyl really thought the blue heron, crow and seagull were neat.
