Vasyl Just Back From An Evening Walk

We took Vasyl for an evening walk. He tends to get a little fussy around this time, so we thought perhaps the fresh air and motion of the stroller would do him good. He is still sleeping, hopefully he will not fuss for a little while.

He looks so cute in the little hat that Babe (Baba) made for him.

All is well here. We were having a little trouble with gaining weight last week. Apparently Vasyl has a little bit of a weak chin, which was effecting his latch. We went to the breastfeeding clinic and were told to supplement his feeding with formula for a little while. Over the last weekend he gained an average of 96 grams per day. To say the least the doctor was thrilled on Monday. He is finally back up to birth weight and beyond.

The doctor wants to use my spreadsheet for tracking feeding, breastmilk expression and formula consumption as a template for her patients. Maybe I should start making spreadsheets for things at home, David would be so happy...Not.
