Starting Again

First day of school photo, it was not feeling like fall quite yet...

The big "V" is going to school three full days a week. He is thrilled and I miss him so much. I started taking pilates twice a week and Mr. Rooney is definitely getting more walks.


Apple picking started off our month. It was a fun day, apple picking, hot dogs and cider doughnuts outside in the sun. We followed up the picking with a lot of baking. Applesauce, two sour cream apple pies and cranberry & apple crisp. Yummy!




Little bud has taken up clay classes again. All three of us have been going together, (driving practice there and back). We are doing parent and child sport classes, bowling, soccer, dodge ball and soccer so far. Swimming at MIT has started up again. Little man is currently a beginning beaver but is moving up to intermediate beaver later this month. All of the MIT swim teams are beavers, the polo team had a game last week. We have been enjoying the beaver jokes, is that just a Canadian thing? Hee heee, heeee.




This month brings interesting things. It looks like David's company might be changing hands in the near future, Ugggh! My driving test is October 19th, boy do I hope to pass! We all have our green card physicals later this month and then all the paper work goes to the lawyers. Weeee!

Fall has now arrived. The wind is blowing and the leaves are falling. We all seem to be enjoying wearing our warmer clothes, jackets, wool caps and scarves. Yeah Fall.
